Our active projects span across the Nordics, and we are continually exploring opportunities to expand our refueling network even further. Our commitment is to construct and operate refueling stations throughout the region.
HydRe – now part of Vireon
In February 2023 we completed the purchase of the Finnish hydrogen refueling company HydRe Oy. HydRe is now the Finnish subsidiary of Vireon and is renamed Vireon Hydrogen Oy. The three founders of HydRe all remain active in Vireon.

Vireon is the leading hydrogen refueler in the Nordics for heavy-duty trucks. Founded in 2023 as a subsidiary of Norwegian Hydrogen AS, the company is already engaged in building heavy-duty hydrogen refueling stations across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
Backed by strong owners with high ambitions, and with a highly dedicated team with diverse backgrounds, we work to enable zero emissions for trucks and other heavy-duty applications. Our growth strategy includes both organic expansion and mergers and acquisitions, and we actively seek partnerships to strengthen our position and accelerate the green energy transition towards zero emissions.
